A scope considered within the whole project.
Flooring affects the character, maintenance and daily use of a space. The finish must work with the substrate, expected traffic, moisture conditions and transitions to other materials. We consider tiling, parquet and other flooring requests with these interfaces in mind, including work within larger renovation and fit-out packages.
What can the scope include?
- Substrate condition and level review
- Preparation and installation scope
- Material layout and junction planning
- Skirtings, thresholds and completion details
Before the work begins.
The quotation depends on measured area, product format, pattern, substrate repairs and the chosen installation system. Wet areas and underfloor heating may require additional specifications. Procurement responsibilities, material waste assumptions and curing or acclimatisation needs should be considered in the programme.
What should I share for a flooring quotation?
Provide the location, approximate area, current floor condition, desired material and any drawings or photographs. Confirm whether removal, levelling, waterproofing, skirtings and material supply should be included.
